WBJEE 2024 Eligibility
Engineering Courses
- The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination, also known as the “10+2” exam, with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following as required subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or Technical Vocational Subjects. Each of these three subjects must have received a pass mark (in both theory and practical, as appropriate) in order to qualify.
- Must have earned at least 45% (or 40% for applicants in restricted categories, such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the combined marks of the aforementioned three subjects.
- Must have received at least 30 points in English on the “10+2” test.
- The Central Government or the relevant State Government must recognise the Board of the aforementioned Qualifying Examination.
