The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT), Chandigarh, is inviting applications for admission to various regular and part-time diploma courses in the engineering and non-engineering departments. The application form is available here. Those who meet the requirements will be admitted based on their class X grades. The authority previously administered the Punjab JET (Joint Entrance Test), but admission will now be based on a merit list. The more than 120+ public and private educational institutions in Punjab State that have selected shortlisted students will offer admission. Punjab Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2024
85% of the total seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to the state of Punjab (state quota seats), while remaining 15% is open to all candidates under All India category.
Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSLC) or equivalent exam with Math, Science and English.
Candidates must have Math, Science and English as a compulsory subjects.
There is no age criteria for admission in diploma courses.
