Exam Schedule for KCET 2024, Application Deadline, and Fee The official Common Entrance Test (CET) dates for 2024 are shown below. The examinations will start in May 2024. Undergraduate applicants in Karnataka take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). Admission to several courses in government and private universities throughout Karnataka, including architecture, B.Pharma, dental, and ayush, is based on the results of these tests.

KCET Notification
Once a year, an offline version of the KCET test is given. The test has a multiple-choice style and has a time limit of 320 minutes. There are 180 questions in the test, 60 of which are from each of the three subject areas: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The syllabus for class XII served as the basis for these questions. The test carries no penalty points.

Criteria for KCET Exam Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed or be enrolled in a class XII test administered by a recognised authority or board.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology are required topics for students in class XII.
- To pass the class XII test, students must have received at least a 45% in the PCM/PCB courses. There is a 5% relaxation for students from restricted categories.
KCET Costs
Women, SC, and ST candidates pay $250; general candidates from Karnataka pay Rs. 500; candidates from outside Karnataka pay Rs. 750; and foreign applicants pay Rs. 5000.
Payment options for this charge include nett banking, credit/debit cards, UPI, BHIM, and QR codes.
Filling Out The KCET Application Form
On the official website, kea.kar.nic.in, the KCET application form will be made accessible online.
Candidates must register on the website by setting up a new user profile using your email address and mobile number. You must submit your KCET application together with a current colour passport-sized photo, scanned copies of your signature, and an image of your left thumb.
