HPCET Application Form

All courses will be admitted based on merit, rank, or marks from the HPCET-2024 National Level Entrance Exam, provided that the prerequisite educational requirements are met.

HPCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Undergraduate courses:

B.Tech. : those must have obtained at least 45% overall (or 40% for those from the reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognised board while passing (or appearing) in their class 12th or equivalent exam.

B.Pharma: Those who have passed their class 12th exam or its equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for applicants from the reserved category) in aggregate for these subjects are eligible. Candidates who only appear may also apply. As of December 2024, applicants must be 17 years old at least.

B.Pharma (Ayurveda): those must pass the 10+2 exam or an equivalent test in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum overall grade point average of 45% (40% for those from the reserved category).

Graduate programmes

M.Tech: A passing grade of at least 50% overall (45% for candidates from the restricted category) in BE or B.Tech in the relevant discipline from an accredited university is necessary.

Candidates for the M.Pharma programme must have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or an equivalent degree from an institution of higher learning and must have earned a minimum of 50% overall (45% for candidates from the restricted categories).

MBA: Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in any track from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% overall grades (45% for applicants from underrepresented groups).

MCA: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any track from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for candidates from underrepresented groups). Additionally required at the 10+2 level is the study of mathematics.

Application fee:

  • For B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Pharma (Ayurveda), MBA, MCA, M.Tech and M.Pharma: Rs. 1550/- for general candidates and Rs. 1400/- for SC/ ST/ BPL candidates
  • For B.Pharma & B.Pharma (Ayurveda) both or B.Tech & B.Pharma both: Rs. 3100/- for general candidates and Rs. 2800/- for SC/ ST/ BPL candidates

HPCET 2024 Application Form

  • In the month of March 2024, the HPCET online application form will be made available on the official website, www.himtu.ac.in.
  • Candidates must include their basic personal and academic information in the application form.
  • Additionally, candidates must scan and upload their signature and photo to the application form.
  • Online applications can be submitted with the necessary application fee and fully completed applications.
  • Payment for the application fee may be made either offline with a PNB Challan or online with nett banking, a debit card, or a credit card.
  • The application form should contain the payment information if the fee is being paid by challan.
  • The applicants should print the completed form after submitting it in its final form and save it safely for future use.
